Bangkok BTS | MRT Pdf Map

This is a Bangkok’s Skytrain and Metro Pdf Map.

More than once, while travelling around the city, I found myself in the need of quickly check the different stations along the Bts or Mrt line.
While in the actual station or standing in the train, right in front of the door, this is not a problem it is not the only scenario in which I needed it…
…so keeping a map on my mobile sounded to me like a good idea.

Unfortunately, despite the web is crowded of Bangkok’s transportation maps, I found difficult to find one that was:

  • Easy to import
  • Available in off-line mode
  • Resizeable (so that the text is till perfectly readable when zooming in)
  • With main districts for a better orientation
  • Pleasant to see (well, this is a point for me…)

I so decided to do one myself, as per my needs and taste.

The result is a fully resizeable Pdf map of Bangkok’s Skytrain and Metro.

It works for me, so I thought to share the file with all the travellers that don’t normally use internet in roaming or whoever think this would be the right solution for him/her.

If you want to give it a try this is how to do:
If you have an iPhone or iPad with iBooks all you need to do is:

  1. Download the file
  2. Open iTunes and import the file in iBooks
  3. Synchronize your iPhone/iPad with iTunes

Now the map will be available in your iBooks library as Pdf file.

For any other mobile or device that can read Pdf files the process is very similar:

  1. Download the file
  2. Import the file on your mobile with the relative software
  3. Open the file with any application that can read pdf files

Hi Alessandro, Thank you so much for the map! There are lots of new stations on the Sukhumvit line now, beyond On Nut, and the Airport Link is also up and running – are you considering adding these soon? That would be wonderful. Thanks :-) Lara
